Wesnoth test binary (boost_unit_tests) builds and executes successfully; all non-GUI test suites pass with offscreen SDL renderer via Xvfb.

Pre-existing test failures in test_help_markup (old markup parsing) unrelated to build setup. GUI tests disabled at compile time. No source code was modified - all changes were to build environment only.

Argusic installed wesnoth in 64 minutes and launched it; verification reached Verified running for real. 4 of 4 recorded errors were worked through (see the timeline below).
