1640 backend unit tests pass on Python 3.12 with uv, after installing system X11 library stubs and adding test/__init__.py for import resolution.

All 1640 backend unit tests pass. The project is Docker-native but unit tests run standalone with uv. Frontend web dependencies install via npm but browser-based tests weren't run. The test/__init__.py is a required addition for collection to work outside Docker.
