What the test found

All 72 Python modules of Midea Auto Cloud v0.4.19 import successfully with mock HA stubs. The AES encryption engine, packet builder, session persistence, and cloud API configuration all pass functional verification. Real cloud API credentials and a running Home Assistant instance are required to exercise device discovery and control.

Midea Auto Cloud v0.4.19 is a Home Assistant custom component with 72 Python modules. A mock Home Assistant package (72 stubs across 15 sub-packages) was constructed to enable full import verification. All 72 modules import cleanly. The cryptographic core (CloudSecurity, LocalSecurity), packet builder(PacketBuilder), session store, and cloud configuration were verified with 16 functional tests covering AES-CBC/ECB roundtrips, fixed-key AES (matching the exact integers used in cloud.py), HMAC signing, password hashing, device ID generation, UDP ID derivation, CRC8 table integrity, packet construction, checksum computation, and session persistence roundtrip. The Lua runtime module (lupa) was verified importable. The component cannot be fully launched standalone; it requires an active Home Assistant instance and real Midea cloud credentials for E2E verification.

Argusic installed midea_auto_cloud in 2.5 minutes; verification reached Verified with mock services. 3 of 3 recorded errors were worked through (see the timeline below).
