What the test found

All 78 Python files compile, 11 core modules import, 15 platform entry points import, 45 device mappings import, protocol-level operations (CRC8, AES, packet framing, message serialization) verified, and Home Assistant 2025.1.4 boots with the integration loaded and no component errors.

This is a Home Assistant custom component requiring cloud credentials (MSmartHome/Meiju accounts) and real Midea IoT devices for end-to-end testing. Protocol-layer operations (CRC8, AES-128 encrypt/decrypt, packet framing, message serialization, encode32) were verified. HA bootstrap confirmed the integration loads with zero component errors. No formal test suite exists in the repo. A mock cloud server could be built but the cloud.py module makes real HTTP requests with Midea-specific API signing that requires known-good credentials to validate.

Argusic installed midea_auto_cloud in 10 minutes and launched it; verification reached Nothing verified. 4 of 4 recorded errors were worked through (see the timeline below).
