On this container, with user-local Node 22.23.3: npm install succeeds, 4818 tests pass, npm run check is clean, the full build produces an AppImage and a .deb, and the packaged desktop app launches on the Xvfb display and keeps running while its renderer processes IPC.

Required Node>=22 (repo README says v18+; CI uses 22). Opt-in security scans skipped: semgrep and gitleaks not installed (no root). Real agent CLIs (claude/codex/gemini) not installed; not needed for verification. Restored npm's package-lock diff (arm64/musl libc fields) to keep repo clean. Both full AppImage and unpacked builds launched on Xvfb DISPLAY=:99.
