Frontend builds and TypeScript passes svelte-check with 0 errors. Rust backend cannot compile without system libraries (glib-2.0-dev, webkit2gtk-4.1-dev, etc) requiring root. npm test runner passes 808 of 822 tests; 14 fail from Node 18 ESM-CJS interop gaps. vitest runner entirely blocked (jsdom requires Node 20+).
