No third-party credentials or system packages were required; ffmpeg 6.1.1 was already present. The optional ASR engines (parakeet/whisper) are reported optional-missing by doctor, which is the documented state. My only stumbles were harness-level: a pipe-truncated contract JSON (bash SIGPIPE, not a repo defect) and a first parse of probe output using the wrong key; both were my own assumptions, verified and corrected.
