The tests module requires the full NetBeans platform runtime (nbjunit bootstrap), which is not available without a NetBeans IDE installation. The sibling jeddict-test-suite repo is version 5.4 (targeting NB RELEASE112) and is incompatible with this 6.9.0 codebase. No desktop-app launch is applicable for a NetBeans plugin.
