Octocode 0.26.3 builds from source with all features, full test suite passes (1589+136), fmt/clippy are clean, and the binary successfully indexed, searched, and served MCP tools over HTTP on a fresh demo repository.

No mock providers were needed: default stack is fully local fastembed (jina-embeddings-v2-base-code), so no third-party keys were required and no mocks were stood up.

Argusic installed octocode in 44 minutes and launched it; verification reached Verified running for real. 3 of 3 recorded errors were worked through (see the timeline below).
