Thanos binary builds and runs (version printed), and all 78 non-e2e Go test packages pass with -tags slicelabels -short, with no failures, after installing Go 1.26.0 and building the Prometheus test dependency.

Cloud object storage integration tests skipped via THANOS_TEST_OBJSTORE_SKIP=GCS,S3,...; no external credentials needed for unit test suite. All 78 test packages pass with no failures.
