The project installs cleanly via pip install -e ., its FastAPI web server launches and responds with HTTP 200, the Vite frontend builds successfully, and over 700 pytest tests pass across all major subsystems.

FastAPI app (post-Flask-migration) starts and serves HTTP 200 on :5000 with Vite-built frontend assets. ~700+ tests passed across unit, security, config, CLI, DB, report-generator, and search-system modules. One cosmetic RequestsDependencyWarning remains (urllib3/charset-normalizer version check) but all versions are compatible at runtime. Real deep-research functionality requires Ollama + SearXNG containers which cannot run inside this environment.
