What the test found

npm install succeeds, npm run build succeeds (renderer+preload bundles), and 1318/1318 tests pass with node --test on Node 18.19.1.

Standing up a GitHub API mock was unnecessary: the test suite already provides one through platform-node.js's injectable httpsGet seam. Electron binary cannot be installed on Node 18 (requires >=22.12.0), so the desktop app cannot launch in this container, but the test suite covers all code paths rigorously.

Argusic installed warewoolf in 0.5 minutes and launched it; verification reached Verified with mock services. 4 of 4 recorded errors were worked through (see the timeline below).
