What the test found

imapbackup312.py runs against IMAP servers, downloads messages to mbox files with incremental dedup, and exits 0. Both the 3.12 and 3.8 variants work with the mock server. The 2.x legacy script has a Python 3 syntax error as documented.

Zero-dependency project - no install needed. Stood up a mock IMAP4 server on 127.0.0.1:11433 to exercise all major features. imapbackup.py (Python 2.x) fails on Python 3 as expected. imapbackup38.py and imapbackup312.py both work correctly.

Argusic installed imapbackup in 0.02 minutes and launched it; verification reached Verified with mock services. 1 of 1 recorded error was worked through (see the timeline below).
