What the test found

The owllook web server launches on port 8001 and responds with 200 HTTP status on /, /novels/search, /novels/top, /api/search, and /health routes, with real HTML content, connecting to running Redis and MongoDB instances. The existing pytest test suite passes (1 passed, 0 failed).

owllook is a Python 3.6+ Sanic web novel search engine. To run on Python 3.12, 7 patched fixes were applied across vendor packages (aioredis, asyncio_redis, sanic) and the app config layer. Redis 7.2.4 was compiled from source, MongoDB 7.0.20 was downloaded as a portable binary. Both DBs start and the app serves all routes with real HTML content. The aiocache RedisCache backend was disabled because aioredis 0.3 pool is incompatible with Python 3.12 coroutine semantics; SimpleMemoryCache is used instead. Redis session storage works correctly.
