What the test found

The registry repo builds and passes its suite (22 tests, typecheck clean, generator idempotent), and the published better-design CLI is installed with a live free API key that the hosted MCP server accepted, with the MCP server wired into ~/.codex/config.toml.

README documents tests/ with bun; no system package installs were possible, so bun+Node were installed user-local. The repo's own test suite passed 2 files/22 tests, generate-transitions.mjs regenerated all 31 systems (3119 items) with the git tree unchanged, tsc --noEmit exited 0, and all 3152 registry JSON files parse. npx [email protected] setup --yes --source github auto-created a free hosted API key (no mock needed): it wrote ~/.better-design/key and an MCP server block into ~/.codex/config.toml, and installed an AGENTS.md rule file; the repo git tree itself stayed clean.
