Python 3.14.8 extracted from deadsnakes .deb packages and functional. Test suite runs with mocked Docker/D-Bus fixtures from conftest.py. Full test suite is ~1000+ tests; 547 passed in one batch plus 260+ from plugins/dbus module. Docker-dependent tests (apps/, docker/, api/, homeassistant/, host/) cannot run without Docker daemon in container. All pre-existing test failures are in hardware/test_disk.py (3, zero-size directory assertions) and mounts/test_manager.py (1, missing image metadata).
