What the test found

gopass builds, all unit tests pass (except age agent socket test), and the CLI can be run with age encryption and filesystem storage backends in a disposable home directory.

All 83 Go packages build and 82/83 test suites pass. Only internal/backend/crypto/age/agent fails (TestAgentUnlock) due to missing age-agent socket which requires the age-agent daemon running. App was verified end-to-end: built from source, setup with age+fs backends via GOPASS_AGE_PASSWORD, inserted and retrieved secrets successfully. Integration tests (tests/) require GPG key setup with real keys and git remotes and are not run. gpg is provided from manually extracted Ubuntu noble deb packages.

Argusic installed gopass in 17 minutes and launched it; verification reached Verified with mock services. 3 of 4 recorded errors were worked through (see the timeline below).
