What the test found

A fresh Typemill 2.27.0 install builds via composer update and runs on the PHP 8.5.8 built-in server: the setup wizard completes, the admin user can log in, the visual editor and system settings pages return 200, markdown content pages render with 200, and the authenticated settings JSON API returns 200.

Real HTTP behavior verified end-to-end with PHP's built-in server and a scripted browser session: setup wizard 200, POST /tm/setup created the admin user and settings.yaml, login redirected to /tm/content/visual, and authenticated pages and JSON API returned real 200s with correct content. The login flow was stress-tested 200/200 through the same app code path. Pending the authcode mechanism is optional (off by default) and requires working mail delivery, so it was not exercised. PHP 8.5 emits two low-severity deprecation notices during setup that do not affect results.
