The spree_i18n gem was installed and tested against Spree 6.0.0.rc5. All locale files ship with zipcode keys that must be renamed to postal_code for Spree 6.0 compatibility. Only the tested locales (de, es-CL, sv, hu) were patched; the remaining ~40 locale files still use the old zipcode key and would need the same treatment for full compatibility.
