Backend FastAPI app starts and responds on port 8000, all 86 backend tests pass with SQLite in-memory mocks, frontend builds successfully with Next.js 16 (requires Node >=20.9.0), spaCy en_core_web_sm model loads and processes text correctly.

Backend test suite uses SQLite in-memory mocks (FORCE_SQLITE=true). spaCy model en_core_web_sm loaded successfully. Tests that exercise real Gmail/Stripe/Google OAuth were not run - they require real credentials. Frontend builds with Node 20 but current system node is 18 (Next.js 16 requires >=20.9.0); used a standalone Node 20 binary for the frontend build verification.
