What the test found

Shotcut builds and runs from the build tree (offscreen QPA); installed binary has a runtime library search path issue with CuteLogger.

Built Shotcut 26.9.5 on Ubuntu 24.04 with Qt 6.10.3 (aqtinstall) and MLT 7.41.0 (built from source). All required dependencies provided via user-space deb extraction. Binary launches with offscreen QPA platform and reports version. JavaScript EDL/chapter tests require .mlt input files not present in repo. XCB platform plugin requires libxcb-cursor which is not available in container.

Argusic installed shotcut in 49 minutes and launched it; verification reached Verified running for real. 10 of 10 recorded errors were worked through (see the timeline below).
