What the test found

mcpo installs and runs correctly, proxying a real stdio MCP server (FastMCP) over REST with auto-generated OpenAPI schemas; all 27 unit tests pass, both tool endpoints return correct results via HTTP.

MCP v2 API breakage is the main issue. Pinning mcp<2 in pyproject.toml resolves it. The asyncio CancelledError on shutdown is a cosmetic cleanup issue unrelated to functionality.
