Grist core server builds, starts, serves the web UI on port 8484, initializes its database, and passes 1064+ test cases across JS (common, client, server) and Python test suites.

Verified with real server startup (HTTP 200, DB init complete, version displayed), 780 common tests passing, 224 client tests passing, 60 server Comm tests passing, 37 Python tests passing. No mocks needed. npm/nbrowser tests require Selenium WebDriver which is not installed. Server responds on :8484 and serves the boot page.
