What the test found

The Rust project builds with cargo build and cargo build --release, all 66 tests pass (including ICU integration), and the release binary 'edit' responds to --version and --help correctly.

Built and tested on Ubuntu 24.04 with ICU 74. All 65 tests pass (60 library + 2 binary + 3 doctests) plus 1 ignored ICU test also passes when ran explicitly. The binary reports 'edit version 2.0.0' and --help works. The editor cannot launch as a TUI in this headless container (no /dev/tty), which is expected behavior. No system packages needed beyond what's pre-installed (libicu74).
