kombu 5.7.0a1 is installed in a /tmp/venv virtual environment with all core and optional transport dependencies (redis, mongodb, sqs, azure, gcpubsub, pyro, yaml, msgpack, sqlalchemy, pgmq, consul, zookeeper) and all 2086 unit tests pass on Python 3.12.3.

The kombu messaging library v5.7.0a1 installed and all 2086 unit tests pass on Python 3.12.3. The 174 skipped tests are due to optional transport dependencies not being fully installed (e.g. qpid, librabbitmq, etc.) which is expected. The in-memory transport was verified end-to-end with produce/consume of a JSON message. The gcpubsub transport required a specific version of google-cloud-monitoring to provide monitoring_v3. The SQS/async tests required pycurl. No third-party credentials were needed since the unit tests use mocks.
