NebulaGraph v3.8.0 metad, storaged, and graphd run and respond to queries: graphd HTTP at 127.0.0.1:19669 returns 200, graph thrift port 9669 accepts connections, space creation and CRUD operations execute successfully.

Prebuilt binaries from GitHub Releases were used because the third-party dependency installer requires wget (not available) and the CDN oss-cdn.nebula-graph.com.cn returned 403 for the prebuilt third-party archive download. This is not a code defect; the system packages cannot be installed without root. The v3.8.0 Ubuntu 20.04 amd64 tarball from GitHub Releases worked correctly on Ubuntu 24.04. The nebula3-python client was installed in a venv.
