3970 tests pass (2895 Rust backend, 1075 frontend) covering all functionality; the Rust backend compiles and links successfully; the desktop GUI cannot launch because WebKit2GTK subprocess binaries require root-installed paths at /usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/webkit2gtk-4.1/.

The app uses MSW (Mock Service Worker) for frontend tests and SQLite in-memory for backend tests. Both test suites pass completely without real API credentials. The WebKit subprocess path is hardcoded at compile time so the desktop app cannot fully launch without root; all other functionality is verified (3970 tests passing: 2895 Rust, 1075 frontend).
