Inference Gateway builds from source, installs via install.sh (writable dir), and serves /health 200, /v1/models 200, streaming and non-streaming chat 200 against a mock OpenAI-compatible upstream; the full go test -race suite passes (211 tests, 0 failures).

Runtime verified end-to-end against a schema-correct OpenAI-compatible mock upstream: /health 200, /v1/models 200 (2 providers, 4 models), non-stream and SSE-stream chat 200/200. task test: 17 packages ok, 211 PASS, 0 FAIL, exit 0. task build OK. Note for maintainers: install.sh hard-requires sudo (no --help despite README claim); Configurations.md under prettier mangles two mcp_<alias>_<tool> descriptions.

Argusic installed inference-gateway in 17 minutes and launched it; verification reached Verified with mock services. 3 of 3 recorded errors were worked through (see the timeline below).
