A statically linked curl 8.23.0 binary (OpenSSL 4.0.3, HTTP/3, ECH, brotli, zstd, c-ares, libidn2, libpsl, libssh2, nghttp2/3, ngtcp2) was built from this repo's script in the container and fetched http://example.com/ over HTTPS with HTTP/3, returning HTTP 200, and 1790 of 1809 upstream curl tests passed.

Script ran unchanged (no repo edits) with only env PATH/DIR/RELEASE_DIR overrides; all build artifacts moved out of the repo to /tmp/final-release so the repo is git-clean. trurl intentionally not built (ENABLE_TRURL defaults false). Curl 8.23.0 static binary built successfully in this container without root.
