VictoriaMetrics single-node binary builds from source, launches on port 8428, serves /health (200), accepts Prometheus import data (HTTP 204), stores and retrieves time series via HTTP API queries and export endpoint, and passes all 70+ Go test packages.

Go 1.27.1 was not installed; downloaded to /tmp/go. System packages unavailable (no root). 'make all' requires Docker which is not available; native build via 'make victoria-metrics' and 'make vmutils' succeeded. All lib/... and app/... tests passed (ok). No third-party credentials needed.
