Built tmux next-3.9 from source without root. No third-party credentials needed. Downloaded 8 .deb packages (autoconf, automake, bison, m4, pkg-config, libevent-dev, libncurses-dev + runtime libs) and extracted to build-prefix.

Argusic installed tmux in 18 minutes and launched it; verification reached Verified running for real. 5 of 5 recorded errors were worked through (see the timeline below).
