What the test found

The MERN Marketplace runs on MongoDB 7.0.14 plus Node 18 with the --openssl-legacy-provider flag: the development server and a production build both serve the app (HTTP 200), and signup, signin, shop, product, and live-auction bidding all work end to end against the local database.

No test suite exists in the repo (no test script, no tests) so verification exercised the running app end to end. Stripe checkout flow requires real Stripe test credentials and was not exercised; its auth guard correctly returned 401 without a token. No browser binary available, so client hydration was not visually checked.
