Monorepo (Vonage Node Server SDK) is a library, not a desktop app. Install = 'npm install --ignore-scripts --no-audit' (CI install cmd) succeeded, 815 packages. Tests = 'npm run test': 32 suites / 618 tests all passed. Build = 'npm run build --workspaces' produced CJS+ESM+DTS for all 28 packages. Lint = 'npm run lint' passed. E2E: ran a local schema-correct mock HTTP server (GET /account/get-balance -> {value,autoReload}; POST /sms/json -> message-count/messages) and pointed the built SDK at it via the documented restHost option; verified getBalance parsed 10.28 EUR and sms.send returned status 0, with correct Basic auth header 'Basic YWJjZDoxMjM0' on every request. Only used Node 22 from ~/opt/node22 (no system packages installed; no root needed). Real Vonage account credentials not needed since mock proved the SDK's HTTP/auth/parsing end to end.
