Real HN/example.com pages fetched by Playwright during tests; LLM calls answered by a schema-correct OpenAI Responses-API mock, so verification is tier2_mock. npm audit reported 11 vulnerabilities, not addressed. Mocks live in /tmp/mock (outside repo); git status clean.
