What the test found

Kiali backend binary builds and runs, all 121 Go unit test packages pass, and the React frontend UI builds successfully, but a Kubernetes cluster with Istio is required for full integration testing.

The project has two build paths: the make system uses yarn 4 via corepack (unavailable in this container), but the frontend package.json scripts themselves use npm run, so direct npm install + npx rsbuild build works. The .yarnrc.yml supportedArchitectures field was incompatible with yarn 2.4.3 (the only berry version available) and was removed. No third-party API keys are required for the Go backend tests; they use mocks. Integration and Cypress tests require a Kubernetes cluster with Istio which is not available in this container.

Argusic installed kiali in 29 minutes and launched it; verification reached Verified running for real. 4 of 4 recorded errors were worked through (see the timeline below).
