What the test found

With the coordinated ESP component sources in .test-deps, the project runner's software-full mode passed 2570 tests plus 219 subtests, the browser suite passed 41 real-Chromium tests, ESPHome generated the native firmware C++ (2050332 bytes), and a live UDP REGISTER was challenged 401 then authenticated 200 with registration and deregistration observed.

No by-design launchable app; verification is the project's own software and browser suites plus real loopback SIP and ESPHome generation. HA 2026 suite is blocked by the Python 3.12-only container (HA 2026.7+ needs >=3.14.2); Node frontend tests are blocked by Node 18 ESM detection. Modified files: scripts/yaml_paths.sh and tests/test_yaml_paths_contract.py (env-override support for sibling checkouts; defaults unchanged).

Argusic installed esphome-intercom in 8 minutes and launched it; verification reached Verified running for real. 6 of 8 recorded errors were worked through (see the timeline below).
