What the test found
After installing Rust and pointing the build at extracted libpcap/ibverbs/libnl libraries, netwatch 0.40.0 builds in debug and release, its version/help/doctor/diagnose/uptime commands exit 0, the TUI runs and renders live data on a PTY, and the test suite passes except 2 tests that fail only because this container has IPv6 disabled.
No repo source modified; all workarounds are env vars pointing at /tmp library dirs. No root so libpcap was not system-installed and CAP_NET_RAW could not be granted, so live packet capture reports 'not permitted' (doctor capture: unavailable). 2 remaining test failures are environmental: IPv6 is disabled in this container (disable_ipv6=1, ::1 unbindable). NO_COLOR=1 is also set in this container and caused 2 render tests to fail until unset. Real (non-mocked) network diagnostics ran against eth0/DNS.
Argusic installed netwatch in 18 minutes and launched it; verification reached Verified running for real. 4 of 5 recorded errors were worked through (see the timeline below).
