Install requires Node >=22.13.0 (project says >=22.5.0 but 22.5.0 triggers npm internal error). The monorepo workspace has a fragility: npm re-install may replace nested @bradygaster/squad-sdk with stale npm copy; workaround is restoring the symlink. 154 gh-aw tests require `gh aw` extension; 14 repl-ux/layout tests require interactive PTY. All other test suites pass cleanly. `squad init --preset default` scaffolds a complete project correctly.
