What the test found

HaCasa Nova 3.0.0 builds from source with npm install && npm run build, serves via HTTP with the dev mock backend, and renders a complete panel UI in both panel mode and card mode in a headless browser.

No test suite exists in the project. Verification used Playwright headless Chromium against the built bundle served via HTTP on localhost:8099 with the included mock Home Assistant backend (dev/mock-hass.js). Both panel mode (dev/index.html) and card mode (dev/card.html) rendered fully - showing rooms, climate cards, media players, weather, energy usage, attention notifications, and navigation. The npm build produced the 1422-line bundle dist/hacasa-nova.js. Icons were generated successfully.
