The shell_gpt 1.5.1 repo installs cleanly in a venv. All 29 unit tests pass using mocked OpenAI responses. The two roadblocks were (1) PEP 668 preventing system-level pip install (solved via venv) and (2) the module-level cfg instantiation in sgpt/config.py calling getpass() then raising UsageError for any missing config key import-time. Both are configuration issues, not code bugs. No real API key or network call was needed; the test suite uses @patch('sgpt.handlers.handler.completion') exclusively.
