mg 4.1 builds, installs, answers -h, runs batch mode (exit 0), and a real pty session saved the typed text 'FINAL PROOF' to disk with exit code 0.

Standalone no-curses build (README-supported) used because libncurses-dev headers are absent and no root; ./autogen.sh still requires GNU autotools, but ./configure (build-aux) works without them

Argusic installed mg in 15 minutes and launched it; verification reached Verified running for real. 3 of 3 recorded errors were worked through (see the timeline below).
