Serena v1.7.0 installed via uv, initialized with LSP backend, MCP server starts and responds to initialize requests, and 621 of 623 unit tests pass. Two index-with-language tests fail due to pyright uncached in the empty test fixture directory.

uv tool install -p 3.13 serena-agent installed in 2.5 min. serena init succeeded. MCP server starts and responds correctly on stdio/SSE transport (initialize returned valid capabilities). 621 unit tests passed covering config, CLI, memories, MCP protocol, file tools, search, symbol lookups, text utils, hooks, edit markers, activation, and project commands (minus 2 pyright-dependent index tests that timeout). No LSP-backed tests were exercised because language servers require external binaries; a real end-to-end test would need pyright (Python), gopls (Go), etc. installed and pre-cached.
