What the test found

The tg-archive CLI installs, reports its version (v1.3.1), scaffolds a new site, and builds a static archive (valid HTML, RSS and Atom feeds, reply links) from a schema-correct SQLite database; only the live Telegram sync step could not be verified because it requires real my.telegram.org account credentials.

Standard install succeeded: pip install -r requirements.txt then pip install . (tg-archive 1.3.1) into a venv. tg-archive --version printed v1.3.1. --new created a site. --build on a seeded schema-correct DB (built with the project's own DB class, no --sync) published 2024-01.html, 2024-02.html, index.html, index.xml, index.atom, static/. Both feeds parse as valid XML with 3 entries; index matches latest page; reply link renders. --sync requires real Telegram API credentials: it reached Telethon client.start() and prompted 'Please enter your phone (or bot token):', the genuine auth boundary, so the sync/fetch step itself is not mockable-to-real; everything else was verified end to end.

Argusic installed tg-archive in 7 minutes and launched it; verification reached Verified with mock services. 1 of 1 recorded error was worked through (see the timeline below).
