What the test found

Dia2-1B model loads and generates valid 24 kHz mono WAV audio on CPU (bfloat16) via both the Python API and CLI, producing non-silent output with correct speaker-tagged transcription and word timestamps.

No CUDA GPU available; model runs on CPU in bfloat16. resolve_precision patched to force bfloat16 on CPU (upstream issue). 2B model OOM on 8 GB cgroup; used 1B variant. Gradio interface builds. No test suite in repo.

Argusic installed dia2 in 0.6 minutes and launched it; verification reached Verified running for real. 3 of 3 recorded errors were worked through (see the timeline below).
