What the test found
A clean venv install of lazy-bird builds and imports all modules, the full pytest suite passes 803 tests with 17 skips, and the web backend serves HTTP 200 on its root, system status, and projects endpoints on port 5137.
Python has no Redis or PostgreSQL, so the FastAPI v2.0 microservice could not be launched standalone (its lifespan needs Postgres/Redis); its API behavior was exercised through the integration tests. The live Flask web backend ran on port 5137 and returned HTTP 200 on /, /api/system/status, and /api/projects, HTTP 201 on POST /api/projects, and HTTP 204 on DELETE, all observed. lazy-bird --version printed 0.1.0, lazy-bird project list and lazy-bird status exited 0. GitHub/GitLab/Claude tokens were absent; the backend logs said features would be limited, and tests mock those services, so real third-party credentials were not required.
Argusic installed lazy-bird in 40 minutes and launched it; verification reached Verified running for real. 6 of 6 recorded errors were worked through (see the timeline below).
