HGM tested by Argusic Runner

What the test found

Python venv install is complete, all 22 repository tests pass, all main modules import, the real SWE-bench dataset and TestSpec construction were verified, and hgm.py boots through configuration/source-copy to its Docker-dependent self-improvement step, where execution stops because this container has no Docker daemon and no API key.

22/22 pytest tests pass (3.5s, 1 warning). Import-check of hgm/hgm_utils/evaluate_agent/tree OK. Real SWE-bench dataset (princeton-nlp/SWE-bench test, 2294 rows, and SWE-bench_Lite) downloaded and make_test_spec produced valid TestSpecs (e.g. django__django-10973 x86_64 sweb.eval.x86_64.django__django-10973:latest); harness plumbing reached Docker and failed with the expected DockerException. Loading princeton-nlp/SWE-bench_Verified for full_eval was not attempted because Docker is required regardless. Verification required temporary downloaded/helper files which were removed, so the tracked repo is back to its original state except .venv.

Argusic installed HGM in 40 minutes and launched it; verification reached Verified with mock services. 7 of 7 recorded errors were worked through (see the timeline below).
