What the test found

The project configures, builds, and installs into /tmp/install-prefix, and the installed libbson2/libmongoc2 libraries, exercised through a compiled consumer plus the live test suite against a real MongoDB 8.0.6 server on 127.0.0.1:27017, successfully ran a ping and CRUD/transaction/server-selection tests, with the only failures being two IPv6 tests that cannot connect because the container has no IPv6 and one SSL-reconnect log assertion.

Standard CMake Debug build in cmake-build/ and install to /tmp/install-prefix succeeded. A real MongoDB 8.0.6 server (downloaded, not mocked) was stood up on 127.0.0.1:27017 with test commands enabled. Live test runs: crud/unified 123 pass/0 fail; server_discovery+server_selection+transactions+sessions+retryable 508 pass/0 fail/128 skip; bson+Client+Collection+Cursor 779 pass/3 fail/18 skip. Remaining 3 failures are environment-caused (no IPv6 in container) or a test log-assertion mismatch, not fixable inside the container. SASL/libtasn1/snappy not present so SASL and compression were built disabled; libmongocrypt absent so CSFLE disabled; bundled utf8proc used.

Argusic installed mongo-c-driver in 15 minutes and launched it; verification reached Verified running for real. 2 of 3 recorded errors were worked through (see the timeline below).
