What the test found

diagram binary builds with Go 1.27.2; --help prints banner and 'Version: 1.1.0'; CLI mode converts sample.txt to a valid non-blank 870x890 PNG that ffmpeg decodes cleanly with exit 0; preview mode opens a live 'Preview diagram...' window on Xvfb :99 and stays up until killed; go vet and go test (in an out-of-tree copy with an added gui smoke test) both exit 0

Repo has no tests; wrote an out-of-tree GUI smoke test (gui/gui_test.go) in a /tmp copy that calls gui.NewGUI().Draw on a 64x64 image and closes the window after 5s; hardcopy test sources left in /tmp/gui and /tmp/guisrc, repo untouched. Runtime libs existed, only dev files were fetched; bundled font/gloriahallelujah.ttf drew text correctly (5.12% dark pixels). Interactive gocui TUI was not provably exercisable without a tty.

Argusic installed diagram in 14 minutes and launched it; verification reached Verified running for real. 4 of 4 recorded errors were worked through (see the timeline below).
