What the test found

With local substitutes for the 5 private @mermaid-chart packages, the project installs via pnpm, compiles and bundles, lints with 0 errors, passes its VS Code integration test (1 passing), packages into vscode-mermaid-preview-2.2.0.vsix which installs and lists in VS Code 1.143.1, and renders a mermaid flowchart to valid SVG through its markdown-preview bundle in headless Chrome.

The 5 private @mermaid-chart/* packages were substituted: core engine is real public [email protected] (same fork API registerLayoutLoaders/registerIconPacks), icons-gcp is real @iconify-json/gcp, aws/azure icon packs and ELK layout algorithm are schema-correct stubs; the VS Code integration suite itself ran real (tier1) but deep functional verification exercised the substituted engine, so tier2_mock is reported. Headless-render harness needed a crypto.randomUUID shim because about:blank is not a secure context (VS Code webviews are).

Argusic installed vscode-mermaid-preview in 19 minutes and launched it; verification reached Verified with mock services. 5 of 5 recorded errors were worked through (see the timeline below).
