Frontend installs, type-checks, builds, and its full Vitest and Playwright suites pass (157 unit tests, 8 e2e tests), and all 12 non-GUI Rust crates build and pass 79 unit plus 2 doc tests; the Tauri desktop shell still cannot be compiled because its system GTK/WebKit dev libraries are absent from this container.

Fully user-space install (no root); real Chromium e2e and Rust unit suites exercised; only the Tauri Linux GUI native build is blocked by missing system dev libraries, which is an environment gap, not a repo defect

Argusic installed splicr in 24 minutes and launched it; verification reached Verified running for real. 2 of 3 recorded errors were worked through (see the timeline below).
